April 2022 – IRS recognized nonprofits top 1.8 million

We’ve updated CharityCheck101.org to reflect the latest IRS list of exempt organizations (nonprofits).

The latest IRS list, officially released April 11, 2022, shows a total of 1,812,752 nonprofits.

It’s an increase of 26,459 from the December 13, 2021 IRS list.
